Think of how a Skelton and human body develops in the womb. Spine and brain stem remain connected through life and for them to be disjointed well death. Now from the brain stem the cranium and brain tissue form. Hence the interconnectedness between the two in the story.

I found your critique well written and erudite.

I like this film because entertainment should be willing to engage the audience in thought. So often we think of movies and the need to suspend reality. In thinking films we are invited to view them and to form our own thoughtful conclusion. At 100% was Lucy kidding when she announced she was everywhere?

To me that is what God is all about. Being there. Another great movie and one that makes you think.

Thank you.
Rommel John Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00290150910837511951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-933254522488715161.post-29458758391556916252016-03-28T10:36:36.570-04:002016-03-28T10:36:36.570-04:00I agree they tried to do too much in the movie. No...I agree they tried to do too much in the movie. Not to give spoilers but Luther's big surprise should have been a different film completely. I thought in the beginning the pacing started nicely in setting things up then it went from first to fifth gear in a matter of seconds. My biggest problem aside from the Batman workout montage, was Eisenberg. Maybe it was just me but it seems as if Snyder said " I want you to reinvent Luther the way Ledger did Joker" but all he took from it was act like Ledger being Joker, then proceeded to do a HORRIBLE imitation. In most lives, I see so much more potential than what is ever brought to fruition. That includes my own life. I have often pondered what it is... the stress of making a living, the distraction of a world with a lot of fear in it, or something else unnamable, that keeps so much of humanity in that space the Dana Blog mentioned in the quote from William James. I'm not entirely convinced that this isn't a true statement, given the many 10 percent measurements we know about at this point in time. In any case, suffice to say that the idea of being more intriques so I wanted to see Lucy. Yes there were parts I didn't like, mainly that first scene but the rest I thought worked great. At first I thought the Spock to Spock scene was just a fun cameo for fans but the more I think about it the more I believe it was put in to remind viewers that this is a different time line. I know you covered this in your post but I think it's a great way to give fans the characters they love but have them free from conflicting story lines (like Pike dying instead of having Spock taking him back to that planet from the original pilot). Yes, they could have done this and did something original with the story and maybe they will if they go forward. Had it been up to me I would have left Kirk dead when he died, I know people would have been outraged but it was a great emotional moment. chadspurlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14031194098018151331noreply@blogger.com
